Alan R. Neuner, vice president for facilities operations for Geisinger Health System, presents "Improving National Health Through Energy Efficiency" in this edition of Pennsylvania College of Technology's Daniel J. Doyle Technology & Society Colloquia Series. During his presentation, Neuner shows that seemingly small and insignificant decisions about energy use can echo resoundingly and positively through the broader community. Geisinger has been recognized nationally for its success in reducing energy costs and correspondingly improving the health of its neighbors.
Dedicated in honor of Daniel J. Doyle, a professor emeritus and the college’s 1984 Master Teacher, the Daniel J. Doyle Technology & Society Colloquia Series features presentations by noted authors and academics that challenge audiences to consider the impact of technology on our society.
